Men Take First, Women Take Second at NCCAA DII National Meet

CEDARVILLE, Ohio. – The Maranatha Baptist Bible College cross country teams performed well individually and corporately at the NCCAA DII National Tournament on the campus of Cedarville University on Saturday. In-Game Box Scoring for NCCAA DII Soccer Championships
The Maranatha Athletics Website will be providing in-game box scoring for the matches that will be played by the men's and women's soccer teams in the NCCAA DII National Tournament. Kedra DeLozier Named NAC Defensive Player of the Year
WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Northern Athletics Conference has just released the All-Northern Athletics Conference awards for the 2008 women's volleyball season.
Kedra DeLozier, a senior libero from Watertown, Wis., was named the NAC Defensive Player of the Year. DeLozier averaged 3.75 digs per game and had only 53 reception errors in 553 attempts.
DeLozier was also named to the All-Conference Second Team. Holly Peterson, a senior middle hitter from Watertown, Wis., was named All-Northern Athletics Conference Honorable Mention.
Solarek Named NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week
Andrew Solarek was chosen the NCCAA Division II Student Athlete of the Week for October 27-November 2. Solarek, a Biblical Studies major from Greenwood, Ind., scored 5 goals and assisted on another to propel the men’s soccer team to the NCCAA Midwest Regional Championship with wins over Grace Bible College and Moody Bible Institute. The Crusaders will be participating in the NCCAA National Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla. on November 13-17.
