Is the purpose of health care just to treat people physically, without any regard for the soul? At Maranatha, we don’t think so.
The Department of Nursing sees each human being as someone made in the image of God, so we have a higher motive for caring for patients. We train nurses to care for the physical body, but to do so with biblical compassion and love. The number of jobs in health care is expected to jump to 3.2 million by 2018. Maranatha is the only regionally accredited fundamental Baptist college to offer the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Maranatha Baptist Bible College was authorized by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing to plan and admit students into its BSN program.
