About Mrs. Kolwinska

Marcele Kolwinska has been a teacher and mentor of teachers for more than 40 years. Her expertise as an early childhood educator focuses on pre-kindergarten through the second grade. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education at Maranatha, teaching a variety of courses designed to prepare students for ministry to young children. She attends conferences and stays conncted with area early childhood professionals. Her husband, Jerry, is an English professor at the College. They served together at Christian schools in Minnesota and Nebraska before coming to Maranatha.

Personal

The Kolwinskas are empty nesters. Their three children are married and involved in education. Owen, Erin, and Christian, her grandchildren, are delightful reminders that grandchildren are God’s reward for being a parent. Mrs. Kolwinska enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time at home and with family and friends.

Ministry

Mrs. Kolwinska ministers with her husband at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, where she participates in choir and teaches the three-year-old Sunday school class.
