About Mr. Miller
Tim Miller joined Maranatha’s Bible and Church Ministries faculty for the 2011-12 academic year. He was a 20-year-old University of Michigan student and assembly line worker when he began to read his Bible during breaks at work. He eventually discovered the truth in what he was reading, accepted Christ as Savior, and enrolled at Maranatha in the fall of 2002. He graduated cum laude in Humanities in 2006, earned a master’s degree in Biblical Studies in 2008, then earned a Master of Divinity degree at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, in 2009.
By August of 2012, Miller hopes to have submitted his dissertation to Westminster Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing a PhD in Historical Theology. His degree emphasis is in Christian Apologetics with specializations in Metaphysics, Epistemology, Worldview, and Theology Proper. The subject of his dissertation is the perspectives of philosopher and theologian John Frame.
Mr. Miller enjoys basketball and new technology. He and wife Hannah (Kutz, ’07) have one child.
