Maranatha vs. Wisconsin Lutheran

Maranatha established its intercollegiate women’s soccer program in the fall of 1998. The Crusaders broke through with their first winning season in 2003. Then, in 2007, Maranatha began its current string of four consecutive appearances in the NCCAA Division II national tournament. The 2010 team played its way into the championship game as Karis Rogers set a school record for goals in a season (24) and Elise Jones set a school record for goals in a career (44). Rogers later surpassed Jones’ record with 53 career goals in the 2011 season. Maranatha competes in the Northern Athletic Conference and is a member of NCAA Division III and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
