Crusaders breeze past Great Lakes

WATERTOWN, Wis. – In preparation for their Saturday morning game against #1 Dominican, Maranatha rested their starters who filled in admirably in a three set sweep (25-3, 25-10, 25-7).

The Maranatha reserves gained valuable experience in the second game as freshman hitter Violet Newlin (Wallace, Mich.) had six kills and outside hitter Kaylah Richerson (Elmwood, Ill.) got in on the action by nailing four kills.

Maranatha is back in action Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at home against the #1 seed in the NAC, Dominican.
