Crusaders’ Play Remains Strong

AURORA, Ill. – The Crusaders’ style of play still remains strong in spite of a 2-0 loss to Aurora University.

Coach Pill said, “It was a good game for us to play as we faced one of the top teams in the NAC. They had more possession of the ball but our defense was solid and compact.”

Freshman forward Taylor Pill (Watertown, Wis.) nearly evened the score early in the second half with a shot that deflected off the crossbar.

“It was an all around team effort and good preparation for our NCCAA Regional Play-off against Lincoln Christian on Monday,” Pill stated.

The Crusaders play Monday at 3:00 p.m. at home.
