WATERTOWN, Wis. – The men’s soccer team posted a 5-1 scrimmage win over the Maranatha Alumni on Saturday afternoon.
Junior forward Mitchell Holley (Watertown, Wis.) found the back of the net on a pass from midfielder Brian Lundquist (Reading, Mass.) at the 18 minute mark.
Lundquist later weaved his way through several defenders and launched a bullet from 10 yards out for the second tally.
The Alumni made their way onto the scoreboard with a goal from Timothy Solarek in the second half.
New players, Zach McKinnon and Marvin Klaudt also had goals for the Crusaders near the end of the second period to secure a 5-1 victory.
The Crusaders open the regular season at Grand Rapids, Mich. At 5:00 p.m. against Grace Bible.
