WATERTOWN, WI – Former Crusader athlete, Torey DeLozier, who was recently selected as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Woman of the Year, has joined a list of 140 athletes from the NCAA Divisions I, II and III that will be whittled down to the 2013 NCAA Woman of the Year.
The process begins in August, with 10 honorees to be selected from each division by the Woman of the Year selection committee.
Nine out of the 30 total finalists will be selected in September (three from each division), followed by a vote to determine the 2013 Woman of the year.
If DeLozier makes the top-30 nominees, she will be honored, along with the 2013 Woman of the year, in Indianapolis on October 20.
DeLozier, a three-sport athlete, and 2012-13 graduate at Maranatha, will be pursuing graduate work in education at Cedarville University, in Cedarville, Ohio.
