WATERTOWN, Wis. – The men’s and women’s basketball team each had representatives take home Awards in the Northern Athletics Conference for the 2011-12 season.

Sophomore center Laci Peterson (Chillicothe, Ill.) was named to the Second Team All-Northern Athletics Conference squad after averaging 12.9 point, 8.6 rebounds and 4.1 blocks per game.

The Crusaders have not had a women’s athlete named to the Second Team All-NAC since Colleen Goff achieved the Award back in 2008.

Junior guard Kristin Morrison (Jefferson, Wis.) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

On the men’s side, junior forward Joel Borchardt was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. Borchardt ranked second in the NAC in rebounds per game (8.8) and averaged 12 points per game on 46% shooting from the field.
