Warriors Edge Crusaders

In a 1-0 loss to NAC opponent Wisconsin Lutheran, Crusaders head Coach Jeff Pill was pleased with the team’s effort stating, “We played a very effective game and had better possession as we outshot Wisconsin Lutheran.”

Senior keeper Mark McIntyre received the nod in net for his first collegiate match and played very well. “Both Mark and our back line played very well and had good control of the box.” The box score might show a loss for the soccer team, but Pill was pleased with the effort.

Maranatha outshot Wisconsin Lutheran 16-15 while McIntyre finished the day with three saves. Maranatha is now 4-7 overall and look to march forward in a home game against Lakeland on Tuesday October 11 at 4:00 p.m.
