History/Social Studies faculty
Maranatha is seeking to employ a qualified individual to serve as a full-time faculty member beginning with the 2014-2015 academic year. The individual must meet all of the faith-based essentials for employment at Maranatha Baptist University, plus possess the following:
- A graduate degree in History or Social Studies
- Previous experience in teaching on the secondary or collegiate level
- Experience teaching World/Western Civilization and U.S. History
- A discerning Christian worldview
- Experience or interest in Political Science courses
- Experience or interest in developing/teaching additional courses
- Experience or interest in web-based, online instruction and course management systems

Dean, School of Education
Maranatha is seeking a qualified individual to become Dean of the School of Education. The present Dean, William Licht, will be assuming the post of Vice President for Academic Affairs replacing John Brock, who will be retiring at the end of the 2013-2014 academic year.
The School of Education is the largest among Maranatha’s eight academic units. Since 1995 Maranatha’s Teacher Education programs have been authorized by Wisconsin DPI to license beginning educators in 24 distinct licensable content and developmental areas from pre-school through secondary levels.
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in Education and possess demonstrated excellence in classroom instruction and leadership skills. Expected qualifications include exemplary commitment to a local Baptist church, and comfort and commitment to promote Christian schools while seeking to prepare educational servants and leaders in all types of educational institutions, including Christian, Home, and Public.
Nursing Department faculty
Maranatha is currently seeking a qualified individual to be a Medical Surgical Nursing Clinical Instructor. The position requires a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing, 3 years (minimum) current Medical-Surgical Nursing clinical practice, and a Wisconsin license (or non-encumbered license that can be transferred). Teaching experience preferred. Consideration will be given to an individual with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with the appropriate experience who is to be an active participant in an MSN program immediately upon hire.

Digital Media/Web Design faculty
We have a full-time faculty position to fill in Digital Media or Web Design. We are looking for a capable, self-initiating, relational individual with creative vision and the drive to helm a Digital Media program at the college level. The position calls for someone with the ability to teach Web Design and Online Marketing classes, as well as promote and further a digital media program for current and prospective students. There is great opportunity for such an individual to pursue projects in the field (web design, video production, graphic art) that will result both in their own professional growth and the advancement of the institution. This individual will find the workplace in Maranatha’s Humanities Department to be one that provides mentoring and collaboration as well as the freedom to create.
