Assistant Registrar

The Assistant Registrar’s primary focus is on student services and expanding and enhancing the use of information technology in academic administrative offices. Current responsibilities include supporting the registration, advising, and common modules of EX by Jenzabar. The assistant registrar supports student registration, transfer of credits, academic advising, and course scheduling. He/she is actively involved in the production of various reports, at both an institutional and departmental level. He/she will serve on the Admissions Committee, Advancing Information Management Team, Assessment Advisory Team, and Technology Committee. Upon confirmation of promotion, the Associate Registrar will supervise the Information Support Specialist and assume additional institutional effectiveness responsibilities. Controller

The controller aids in the day-to-day duties of the vice president of business affairs in the transactional accounting process of proofing, posting, reconciling, and producing financial reports and statements. The controller sits on the Finance Committee and aids with the budgeting process, as well as leading the preparation for annual audits. Kiddie Kampus – Assistant Teacher

Kiddie Kampus Preschool and Daycare has an openings for two assistant teachers beginning August 1. These are a 25-hour-per-week positions with morning hours. Applicants must have completed the course “Child Care and Development.” Please apply online.

Assistant Coach – MBU Women’s Soccer

The assistant women’s soccer coach is responsible to assist the head coach in preparation of their team for competition. The season consists of: 18 games, plus pre-season and post-season potential in the NCCAA National Tournament. The start date is August 18, 2014, and ends November 15, 2014.  Hours: approximately 16 per week, plus travel. Administrative Assistant: Bible Department and Seminary

The Bible Department and Seminary Administrative Assistant organizes and implements the functions of the Seminary including registration, admissions and billing responsibilities, as well as the Seminary web page,  MyMaranatha, preparation for Summerlude and Winterlude, extensive work in Jenzabar and assists with the academic needs of the seminary faculty; creates, organizes and facilitates procedures for the Bible Office, including supervising the GAs’ schedule and work responsibilities. Maranatha Baptist Academy: Speech and Music Teacher

Maranatha Baptist Academy is currently seeking a qualified individual to teach speech and music. The responsibilities for this position include: teaching Speech I and II, directing the school band and choir, directing the school play and organizing the students for the WACS fine arts competition. Head Coach – MBU Football

The men’s football team at Maranatha has a strong tradition of training men to be “To the Praise of His Glory.” The head coach develops young men to be leaders for Christ as well as preparing them to represent God and Maranatha in competition and life. Maranatha competes in the Association of Division III Independents, a NCAA Division III conference, as well as the National Christian College Athletic Association Division II. In addition to being a godly example himself and preparing the team for competition, the Head Coach is also responsible for budget management, summer camp, and other duties as assigned in the job description. In addition to a strong coaching resume, Maranatha is looking for someone with the academic credentials to teach Techniques of Coaching Football. The Head Coach is the lead athletic recruiter for the University and oversees PHIT, the employee wellness program. The target starting date is May 1, 2014. Administrative Assistant: Alumni Services

The Alumni Office is looking for a graduate of Maranatha who is able to interact with alumni in a pleasant and positive spirit. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical, phone, and correspondence support for the Director of Alumni Services.
