Can I do research from home?

Q: Can I do research from home?

A: YES: Current Maranatha students, faculty and staff can use the library’s full-text journal databases, electronic books and other digital resources from anywhere in the world.

This can take place via HOLMES and the Library Catalog. When you access these resources from off campus, you´ll be prompted to log in with your campus username and password.  This is the same password you use when you access your classes online or login to the campus computers. If you have a valid login but are denied access to the resources, here are some troubleshooting tips:

  • Ensure you typed you username and password correctly.
  • Try accessing the sites via a different browser to ensure the problem is with the login itself.
  • Check your anti-virus and firewall systems as they be blocking access.

If you still are unsuccessful in logging on please contact us for assistance and we’ll check to see if there are any known problems or workarounds.

If you have trouble logging onto any Maranatha sites you may need to reset your password which can be accomplished if you contact the IT department.
