Course Name/Code: College Algebra, ASMA 131-1 and 131-2
Catalog Description: A comprehensive study of polynomials, exponential and logarithmicfunctions with their graphs, solving systems of linearequations, introduction to matrix theory, introduction to probability theory, and work in the complex numbersystem.
*Prerequisites: Successful completion of two years of high school algebra or completion of ASMA 103.   Credits/Hours: 3

  • Secure an approved proctor for specified tests
  • Have some means of sending in handwritten work electronically
  • Satisfactorily complete and submit 5 unit homework assignments and 2 discussion posts
  • Take 4 unit tests
  • Take final exam to complete the course no later than March 6, 2010
