Tuition, Fees, and Refunds

2009-2010 Rates

Maranatha's Online tuition is based on our residential cost per credit since these online courses are regular courses converted to online formats.

Payment in full for a class is always due at least seven days before the class starts. Check refund policies.

College Courses

No application fee.
Cost per credit: $294
Library/Computer Fee: $25 per course (non-refundable)

Specials: High school students may apply for up to 50% tuition discounting as space is available.

Audit Online Courses

$100 a course as space is available.

Payment and Refund Policies

All online students (non-residential students) need to pay the full amount for the course at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the course.
Students who drop a course will be refunded based on the following schedule:

Prior to class starting: 100%.
0-7 days: 75%
8-14 days: 50%
15-28 days: 25%
28+ days: 0%

Residential students will follow campus payment plans and refund policies.

Seminary Courses

The Maranatha Baptist Seminary discount structure is changing. As of January 1, 2010, the discounts afforded seminary students will be as follows:

Test Drive	Anyone enrolling in their first seminary class	100% tuition savings* on first two credit hours	This discount used to be called “First Class Free.” (This discount is not available to students in the Bridge Program.)
Seminary Scholarship	Any senior pastor or full-time Christian worker paid for working at least 30 hours a week, 9 months out of the year.	50% tuition* savings up to your 10th credit hour; 25% savings thereafter if your church supports MBBC** (applied after Test Drive scholarship).	This was formerly known as the Pastor’s Scholarship. This discount now becomes the same across the board for all full-time Christian workers, not just pastors.
Senior Citizen 55+ Discount	Anyone 55 years of age and over.	50% tuition* discount	NEW!
Seminary Spouse Discount	Seminary student enrolled in 8+ credit hours married to another seminary student enrolled in 8+ hours at the same time.	50% tuition* discount	No change.

· If you have previously taken advantage of MBBC’s Senior Pastor Discount program, we want to give you the opportunity to be “grandfathered in” at the former discount rate. Take at least one course by June 2010 to remain under the previous discount program.*** If you do not choose to take courses by June 2010, you will automatically be eligible for the new discount rate for courses taken after June 2010.

*Discount applies to tuition only. Excludes comprehensive fees, books, materials or other fees.

**In order to be eligible for the ongoing discount after the first 10 credit hours, your church must be regularly supporting MBBC for at least $50/month or $600/year. This is a change from the previous $25/month or $300/year. Contact the Office of Alumni & Stewardship Services at at 920-206-2325 to become a regular supporter of MBBC.

***The former discount program will be discontinued for everyone as of December 31, 2012.
