Course Workload Preview

The following preview of anticipated course workload is subject to instructor change.

  • You will present five speeches during this course. Three of them will require you to perform your speech in front of your webcam with some small, live audience. The other two will be performed during a synchronous, live online session with your fellow classmates and teacher. All of these scenarios will require you to have a good internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone.
  • Prepare the assigned speeches following directions in research, audience analysis, oral practicing, written assignments, and presentation.
  • Do the daily assignments; read the textbook and be ready for assigned quizzes; and take notes.
