Course Name/Code: English Composition 1, HUEN 121
Description: The study of grammatical form, sentence structure, and punctuation as well as usage, diction, and vocabulary, related to the writing process. Incorporating proper grammatical skills into the composition of paragraphs and essay-length papers is emphasized. Once a student has begun main campus coursework, this course must be taken in the classroom and not online.
Note: The English department has provided a waiver form you can use if you have not yet taken your ACT (see waiver).
