Catalog Description: A study of the origins and development of the US Constitution throughout the history of the United States. Includes a survey of the growth and development of the Constitution, the uniquely federal system of government it created, significant individuals responsible for its conception, implementation, and interpretation, and changes in the Constitution through amendment, practice, and legal interpretation as understood in important Supreme Court cases.
