After teaching and coaching on the high school level from 1995-2002, Phil Price joined the Maranatha Baptist Bible College faculty in 2002. He currently teaches several Math and Algebra courses for the college as well as for Maranatha Online. He enjoys spending time with family, watching college and professional sports (especially Minnesota teams!), playing golf, and being the assistant football coach Maranatha. Phil and his wife, Kathleen, were married in 1995 and have three sons.
Favorite part of teaching online:
“The challenge I have felt to work at ‘fine-tuning’ my communication. Giving feedback or instructions to students through electronic means can be more difficult than face to face interaction. I’m glad for this challenge because I feel like in general, I’m trying to be more conscious of what I’m saying and of how my communication is understood.”
