Soccer Camp
If you want to be the best, learn from the best! Former U.S. National Team programs coach Jeff Pill will teach you "Pill's Drills," activities to help develop your skills and sharpen your game instincts. Individual and team contests allow for a competitive atmosphere, and daily Bible studies will help you grow spiritually.
Points of Emphasis
- To give quality, age-appropriate, excellent soccer instruction to each player.
- To enhance the abilities of coaches who attend our camp.
- To expose young athletes to the ministry of Maranatha.
The disciplines of an athlete complement the believer's daily walk. Consistency of effort, commitment to excellence, and the cultivation of godly relationships are all ideas that are driven home during the course of a sports season. It is the goal of our coaching staff that these attributes become habits for life as players move on into marriage, vocation, and service in a local church. High school coaches are welcome to observe all sessions and take advantage of ample time to discuss soccer theory with the camp staff.

Soccer campers should bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a soccer ball.

Coach
Jeff Pill has spent the majority of his coaching career working with youth in the U.S. National Team's soccer program where he helped coach the 1996 Women's Olympic team. Coach Pill continues to work with the U.S. National Team as an instructor. Other instructors include Maranatha soccer team members and guest coaches.
Levels of Instruction
- Players will be grouped according to their developmental ability and ability to compete.
- The goal for player placement is to have everyone appropriately challenged according to his or her ability.
Coaching Track
A special program will be offered for coaches in attendance. Daily meetings will take place to discuss the latest coaching methodologies and theory. This is a great chance for coaches to develop alongside their players as they learn from one of U.S. Soccer's lead instructors at the National Coaching Schools.
