Student Employment

Students at Maranatha, including freshmen, are allowed to work on or off campus.

Many students choose to work off campus, finding employment at restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, banks, construction crews, cleaning services, pharmacies, malls, stores, insurance, and self-employment. Search MNet classifieds, C-NET Classifieds (on campus only), or Career Services.

Typically, more than 200 jobs are available on campus. They include food service, security, admissions, publications, yearbook, business office, financial aid, custodial, grounds, maintenance, stage, and costumes— but these positions are filled quickly.

Students who are not 18 years of age at the beginning of school will need to obtain a work permit to work on campus. This can be done at the Watertown High School. A birth certificate and one other piece of identification will be required. There is a small fee.  Please contact the Business Office for more information.
