Maranatha announces its Second Esprit De Corps Video Showcase. This event gives Maranatha students a chance to show their accomplishments to an audience of friends and peers.

Information You'll Want to Know
- Content ideas: Friend, professor, dorm, Winterfest, makeover, dorm decor, society, class, lecture, food, community, book, Watertown, local church, free time, sport, play, concert, tree, etc.
- Submit: Create a short film (suggested length: 3-10 minutes) for public exhibition. You can choose fiction, non-fiction, documentary or experimental style as the medium for your production. Submit your work to the Maranatha Communications Office (Old Main - Room 208). Follow submission format guidelines below.
- Compete: This contest is open to Maranatha students and employees.
- Genres: Limited to checkable versions of Western, Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Narrative, Shakespearean, Film Noir, Classic, Mystery, Diary, Documentary, Choose Your Own Adventure, TV show, Animation, Anime, etc.
- Film Formats; Mpeg, WMV, QuickTime, AVI, or flash, with a minimum resolution of 640 by 480. Maximum resolution is 1920 by 1080. DO NOT SUBMIT DVDs. Submit your work on portable USB drive, or via the network. Contact Rob Larson in OM 208 for more submission info. .
- Prizes; $100 each will be awarded to the top three submissions, as evaluated by the Communications judging panel. Submissions are judged based on production quality, originality, and audience appeal. The top three submissions will be shown on the night of the showcase with other contest finalists and independent submissions. The winner will be announced at the end of the showcase, and awards will be presented.
- Deadline: Tuesday, April 22. All contest submissions will be considered for exhibition, and submissions will be shown at the discretion of the showcase organizers.
- Watch: The Showcase be presented in the Fine Arts Hall on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m. The showcase is free, and welcomes Maranatha students and staff and their guests.
A collection of short films submitted by students and staff, entries from the Video Production classes at Maranatha, and finalists from the annual Video Competition will be shown.
These videos may be placed on the website for prospective students, parents, faculty, staff, students, pastors, and alumni to view.
