Fall Preseason information
What to do before you arrive:

Please contact the coach of your sport so they know to expect you. You can register online by clicking
here.

Fill out and send in insurance information along with a copy of your insurance card.. This is in addition to the insurance paperwork required by admissions. This should be taken care of before you arrive on campus and includes an insurance form that needs your parent’s signature,

You must have either a physical (incoming & juniors) or you must fill out a medical history form (sophomores & seniors) and signed by a health care professional.

Please pay careful attention to information from the admissions office to make sure you have everything you need for the registration process. This includes completed medical forms, official final transcripts (high school or college) and your down payment.

Returning players:The Insurance and Medical History/Physical information applies to you as well (Insurance & Medical Forms). Please make sure you have these things taken care of before you arrive on campus.
Dress Reminders:

Students who arrive early or for Pre-Season are subject to the College’s rules and regulations. Therefore, be sure you obtain approved passes (when needed) and conform to the dress standards. Men, this includes no coloring of hair. Hair/grooming must comply with the standards of Maranatha. Hair color must be natural.

Men & Ladies: During pre-season, the appropriate dress for church is a suit or sport coat, tie, dress slacks and dress shoes for men and Sunday dress for women, including nylons.
Preseason Schedule of Events
Second Semester Preseason Information
The first practices of the second semester for men's basketball (12 p.m.), women's basketball (2 p.m.), and wrestling (3 p.m.) will take place on Monday, January 5, 2009. The first meal provided for the student athletes will be Monday dinner.
Any new or transfer student will need all paperwork completed prior to participating in the first practice. A new student athlete must bring in his or her insurance card, a completed insurance form, an NCAA Student Athlete Statement Form, a Drug Statement, a Disclosure of Health Information, and 2 Transfer Documents.
