About Armitage & Day

Armitage and Day’s ministries include mentoring local children through the Partners at Lunch program sponsored by Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Dodge County; calling potential visitors for area churches; building relationships at local coffee shops; and conducting a Bible study with students at UW-Milwaukee on Friday nights.

Lacey Bland: The Fusion Society is involved in three ministries: Grace, Growth, and Generations. Grace is a major opportunity for outreach. We go to coffee shops in Delafield and look for opportunities to build relationships and share the Gospel. Growth is our ministry to help churches. We take an hour each Tuesday and Thursday night and call people in the area of the church we are helping to boost the church’s attendance. Generations is an awesome ministry. Every week, someone meets with a child during their lunch break to just talk and get to know them and be able to be a positive influence in their lives. This ministry is a good time, and we usually have a party for the kids at least once during the semester.

Rebecca Manion: I love the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program our dorm has been able to be involved in this year. Every Thursday I get to meet with my "little sister" who is in kindergarten at one of the elementary schools here in Watertown. I know many of the students there from past field work and the bus route that I work with through my church, Calvary Baptist. Through connections with some of the other students, the Lord has given me a couple different opportunities to talk to my "little sister" about Him and she asked if we could pick her up on the bus for church. Although it still has not worked out for her to come, I am excited about what this semester will hold and for what the Lord has planned.
