Kristin Morrison Named NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Kristin Morrison, a freshman guard for Maranatha Baptist Bible College, was named the National Christian College Athletic Association Basketball Student Athlete of the Week.
A business management major from Jefferson, Wis., Morrison averaged 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 2 assists per game in victories over Northland International University and Moody Bible Institute to help the Crusaders advance to the NCCAA National Tournament on March 11-13.
Crusader Athletes Named All-Region

In voting by the coaches of the NCCAA Midwest Region, several basketball student-athletes from Maranatha were selected to the All-Region Teams.
In women’s basketball freshmen guards Kristin Morrison (Jefferson, Wis.) and Autumn Peotter (Waupaca, Wis.) were named to the first team. Fellow freshmen Hallie Nelson (Rockford, Ill.) and Torey DeLozier (Watertown, Wis.) were named to the honorable mention team.
In men’s basketball junior forward Josh Stein (Watertown, Wis.) was named to the first team. Freshmen Joel Borchardt (Watertown, Wis.) and Matt McGivern (Milwaukee, Wis.) were named honorable mention.
