Maranatha Baptist Seminary is the seminary division of Maranatha Baptist Bible College and is a member of the Higher Learning Commission and North Central Association.
Why Seminary at Maranatha?
The mission of Maranatha Baptist Seminary is to provide graduate level education in biblical, theological and ministry-related areas through programs which are thoroughly committed to a dispensational, fundamental, and Baptist position and which provide education and development, both academic and practical, for men (and, within the confines of biblical restrictions of local church leadership, women) who are called by God into leadership ministries in Baptist churches as pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and servants in other church-centered ministries. The Seminary desires to prepare students who are

professionally competent
and who are faithful to the Holy Spirit’s work through God’s Word in the ministry of preaching and teaching God’s Word throughout the world.
The focus of the Seminary is more than theological and intellectual mastery. We desire spiritual growth and development in the lives of our students. Our goal is that you will cultivate a love and commitment to the spiritual disciplines, such as daily Bible reading and prayer, witnessing to the lost, regular church attendance, and involvement in church ministry, rather than a duty-bound set of activities. Married students need to take special care to cultivate and maintain dynamic, vibrant, and spiritual marriage and family relationships. All of these grow naturally out of a love for Christ which is deeper and broader than any other commitment in your life and results in a consistent testimony in our churches and communities.
