Maranatha believes in the verbal plenary inspiration of God’s Word as originally given. While the College recognizes that no translation is perfect, Maranatha’s policy is that the King James Version of the Bible (also referred to as the KJV or the AV) is the only translation that may be used in the pulpit, classroom, or public ministry of the college; consequently, every student needs a personal copy of the King James Version of the Scripture.
