Older Students

What Policies Must I Follow as an Older Student?

Older students are students who are at least 23 years old by the beginning of the semester. To enjoy the privileges of the Older Student status, you must have a good deportment record and are in good academic standing (you must check with the Registrar’s Office and the Student Life Office to make sure that you qualify). Older students are responsible to abide by the published and announced policies and standards of Maranatha (including the following areas: Church, Movies, and Music). While you are responsible for every policy in the SLJ, the following sections have some exceptions for older students.

Dating
Passes
Men’s General Dress
Chapel for Off Campus and 23 yrs and Older

If you’re an older student and are living off campus, please check additional off campus policies and exceptions.

If you’re an older student living in the dorms, you have exceptions for these areas: Dorm Lock ~ Lights Out.
