Discipline

The University believes that students who conduct themselves according to biblical standards (including honoring their commitment to live by the guidelines of the Student Life Handbook) will have no difficulty living within the guidelines outlined here. Students who choose to disregard these guidelines and basic standards will face disciplinary action.

University Policies and Standards While on Break

School breaks or vacation periods are as follows: Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring, and summer breaks. Any other days during the semester when classes are not in session are called holidays.
  • Students who return to Watertown early from break are subject to the guidelines of the University.
  • Students are to be dressed and groomed according to university standards when leaving for or returning from a vacation.
  • During breaks, vacations, and holidays, students are expected to abide by Maranatha’s Personal Life and Testimony polices.
    • Disciplinary action, including not being allowed to return, will be taken for any life and testimony violation committed during Thanksgiving or Spring Break.

Married and Off Campus Students

  • An off-campus student who participates with an on-campus student in violating university policies will receive the same demerits and penalties that the residence hall student receives.
