Student Life

College isn’t just about classes—it’s about learning and growing in ministry and relationships. To best accomplish these goals, Maranatha has organized events, activities, and ministries for students.

Several current Maranatha students recently spoke with a group of potential students during a live webinar, which provided insights on life at Maranatha. Check it out now!

Student life at Maranatha

Our student ministries are designed to promote community service, outreach, and the chance to impact others for Christ through programs like volunteering at homeless shelters, tutoring disadvantaged youth, mentoring at juvenile detention facilities, and leading worship services at nursing homes. Our Student Life office promotes initiatives that emphasize leadership, discipleship, responsibility to others, and spiritual growth.

But, because we are human and need an occasional break from serious study, there is also time set aside for fun! The Office of Student Activities organizes student body competitions and fellowship opportunities. Participate in intramural sports, the annual blood drive, human Clue, roller skating, bowling, trips to concerts and professional sports games, talent shows, and other activities designed to relieve your stress and help you meet and work with new friends.
