Evangelist Brent Sivnksty will be the guest speaker for Maranatha’s annual Winter Revival Meetings, Jan. 7-11, 2013.

Evening services will take place Jan. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. in the college gymnasium. Morning chapel services will be Jan. 8-11 from 9:20-10:20 a.m., also in the gymnasium.

Sivnksty is the son of veteran evangelist Jerry Sivnksty. After earning an undergraduate degree in Bible and a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies, Brent Sivnksty served as a youth pastor in Indiana for eight years. He then began an evangelism ministry in 2003 and now serves as the staff evangelist at Community Baptist Church of South Bend, IN. Sivnksty and wife Becky have two sons, Hunter and Konner.

The revival meetings are a Maranatha tradition that helps encourage a proper spiritual focus by students as the semester begins. Evangelist Morris Gleiser was the guest speaker during the Winter 2012 Revival Meetings.
