Maranatha’s ministry teams serve a valuable dual purpose. They give students the opportunity to develop a servant’s heart through ministry in local churches. They also offer students the opportunity for growth in their spiritual walk and education through the experience of traveling to different regions of the country as well as Baptist churches with different personalities and ministries.

Local churches benefit from our teams through our students’ boundless energy and enthusiasm as well as their heart for souls. Many lives have been impacted for Christ by one of our students traveling with a ministry team. Pastors welcome the opportunity to present Maranatha’s outstanding educational ministry to their congregations.

The College sends out one traveling music and ministry team in the fall and spring, and several during the summer. We also send more than 100 students around the world every spring and summer through our Global Encounters missions outreach program. If young people in your church would benefit from a youth soccer or basketball clinic, please consider hosting one of our sports ministry teams.
